Keeps the Dust Out Apr 23, 2010
By Veritas Luke I haven't used many respirators but this is by far the best that I have used. I am a farmer and I use this mask for cleaning out grain bins. Depending on which crop is being stored the dust is more or less of a problem but if you spend much time without a mask you can feel your throat and nose filling up with the stuff and I'm sure it's not very good for the lungs. This mask is far superior to disposable dust masks. This one fits tightly around the nose and chin and doesn't allow dust to sneak in around the mask like a disposable. This mask will get wet and sweaty on the inside if you're working in warm conditions and it does noticeably restrict your breathing (I feel short of breath at first if I put it on and start working somewhat vigorously.) and it is somewhat cumbersome to put on and take off but it gets the job done and that's what's important. I don't know if there are other masks out there that do a good job like this one without these negatives but for the occasional dusty work I have to do this one is fine for me.

By Fed Up This product was a waste of money. I have never worn a respirator cartridge that was so hard to breathe through. Should be taken off the market.

By KP This is a really great mask for the price. It was better then using those dust mask for spray paint and cutting up stuff.
