Excellent and Durable for Cleaning Cases Jan 04, 2011
By Josh I bought the tumbler to tumble and clean rifle and pistol brass casings and it works fantastic. If you take a look through Snipershide.com and search for stainless steel media you can find the method to use. Cases turn out shiny and brand new looking like jewelery. It must be seen to believed. Very durable unit and should last many many years.

Tumbler Sep 18, 2010
By Themom This product works as advertised; however there were no instructions provided with it. I missed getting one of the nylon coverings put on right and damaged one of the roller rods. It would have been nice to have a note put on line that stated the tumbler did not come with grit or polish. A better idea would have been to include a small amount with the product so one did not have to waif to use it.

Good tumbler Jul 11, 2011
By Bill W. Good product for tumbling brass. Much quicker than vibratory style polishers. Only wish it had specified that there is a better motor available that has twice as many RPM and doesn't require monthly oil service.
Tumbler Dec 29, 2010
By Mark E. Andersen Tumbler came with two broken retainer washers so I havent been able to use yet. Went to hardware store for new ones and havent gotten the right size . Other that the motor runs and everything else seems OK

Serious Tumbling Jun 21, 2011

This is a 15 pound tumbler. This is not for the average Joe. The cost for polishing materials to tumble a full cylinder (3/4th full of specimens) is approximately $40 and up - not including the 5 weeks of runtime per batch. I recommend this to a person in the industry, school sized projects, or somebody who really likes to polish rocks by the bucketfull.
The unit itself is quite simple to operate. The instructions are clear and replacement parts are easy to obtain. Again, go with a 6 pound unit for home use and leave these big boys to people who need the capacity. All in all, an excellent device on the large side of the spectrum. I just don't see everyone requiring a unit this large unless you're tumbling fist-sized rocks.
