I don't know if it's just the set I got, but I used the 3/8 adapter only once (with a cordless impact driver), and I noticed the swivel pin on the side starting to come out. I had to hammer it back in with a punch. But this gives me a good idea about the quality which might be questionable for their u-joints. I have some of the Nieko USA impact adapters (which have no moving parts) and those seem like decent quality. I haven't used this u-joint after I hammered back in the swivel pin, but now I'm nervous it will pop back out when I do use it again.
When I think about it more, I don't think I got a bad joint as it's just a swivel pin that should not pop out so easily. Might be a design flaw. That's why I'm giving this review only 3 stars.

Good priced set, but is not really the impact grade. I used the 0.5" joint with my cordless impact wrench to lose the bolt of the brake caliper (Mercede 350SD), one of the pivot pin came off. The unit was used on a 25 degree angle application. I hammered the pin back in place and tried again, but failed again. I believe this would be a good set if you only use on hand tools.

I guess you get what you pay for. I used the 1/2 inch universal joint on my impact wrench to remove bolts on a bumper. The first time I used it the pin that holds the 2 parts together came out, rendering it useless. Next time I'll buy something American made with a warranty. I'm out the cost of a couple of beers, don't make the same mistake. Spend your money on beer and then buy an American tool.

When I bought these, I thought they would at least finish one job, I was wrong. I used the 3/8 and the 1/2 inch back to back trying to remove a pinch bolt that connects the rack to the steering column on an cavalier and they snapped in two immediately after pulling the trigger on my impact gun. This U-Joint set is a waste of money and time.

It says in the title that they're "impact". No. These are fine for hand tools if you just gotta have em in your set, but don't waste your time. Get a PROPER and AFFORDABLE Sunex 2300 1/2-Inch Drive Universal Joint Impact Socket - - Sunex International 3301 3/8" Drive Impact Universal Joint set of chrome-moly universal joint attachments. I did make the mistake of getting these long ago, and my Craftsman Pro Electric Impact ripped it apart in two seconds. The new Milwaukee gun has got 475 ft-lbs of torque; my gun has like 300. I value my face so instead of worrying about flying metal parts I got two universal joints and called it a day and haven't looked back. Never done a review before but I feel I had to on these things...
