The magnifier is equipped with a 1.8X and 2.3X double lenses that if used together have a magnification of 3.7X. By bringing down the spare lens, the use can change the magnification. If the flip down loop is used, magnification goes to 4.8X. The inner auxiliary lens flips up inside headband when not in use.
