Failed within a week Dec 24, 2008
By Modem Junki Did what it said on the box for a few days, then went bad. Would not keep calibration and the display would go nuts. Had to return (no exchange offered for this vendor here). I purchased a different vendors offering in its place.

Unreliable, didn't work as advertised Mar 21, 2010
By Brian I had exact same problem as another reviewer where going beyond 6" the display would go nuts. It also ate through batteries. Then, after just a few months (of _very_ light use), it was completely unusable (stuck at 0.000 except a few places where I got wild, random readings). Junked.

Waste Mar 20, 2010
By M. Hoffseth I bought two of these, they both have the same problem. They say 8" calipers, but as soon as you pass 6" the display goes wild jumping around in double digit numbers.

One great Caliper Nov 17, 2009
By T. Cruit I bought this for the occasions when I need to take a precision measurement (Not Everyday). This Caliper came with a nice plastic case that is foam padded and an extra battery. Is very easy to use and will measure metric and standard. One of the best featurs is that it will measure standard in fraction or decimal form.

Pro-Grade at unbelievable price Aug 19, 2009

If you're like me you have periodically wished you had a good caliper measuring device. I finally went shopping for one on-line and found the prices higher than I wanted to pay, that is until I found this item at amazon.com.
No lengthy rhetoric here. Plain and simple, this is a great buy. Very good precision quality at a low price. This instrument is way above the level of those bargain bin items you see at the hardware store. This is the one to buy for those of us who are not in need of the professional level but like good quality none-the-less.
The display allows for metric and inches plus fractions all in digital format so there is no guessing what a scaled dial is telling you. A small watch battery operates a very clear and large enough digital display so even older eyes can read it it easily.
Add this item to your tool box and you will not be disappointed.
