New 8oz Ball Pein Hammer. This is a new 8 ounce ball pein hammer. Great for metal working. Has a face that measures approximately 15/16" (24 mm) in diameter. By wallywetlake When Amazon asked me to review my purchases, I viewed the page and found this hammer. Unfortunately I never got this hammer. I had an 8 oz. ball peen hammer on my Christmas list, so my wife ordered one for me. When I opened my gift, it was a small wooden maul. I assumed that my list hadn't been clear enough. Now I find that she ordered exactly what I asked for, but received something very different. She deserves more of my confidence, and the retailer deserves less. If I had noticed earlier, and investigated the situation, maybe the seller would have made corrective efforts. So basically it's my bad.
