Don't let the price of this item fool you.. this is a top quality, professional grade collection of adapters. Far better than anything you can find at Sears or snap-on. I purchased this set to work with a couple of sets of Neiko 3/4 sockets and have been very pleased. The finish of the adapters is top notch and the construction of the items in the kit is outstanding as well. Even for double the price, this item is a great addition to any tool chest.

I noticed the only the largest adapter is made from chrome moly steel (I think it's the 3/4 F to 1/2 M one). It has it engraved on the adapter itself. All the other adapters have chrome vanadium engraved on them. Nevertheless, I haven't used all of the adapters but the ones I did use, namely the 1/2 F to 3/8 M and vice-versa, stood up to my electric impact gun just fine.
The finish looks like ok quality and the packaging says they are made in Taiwan. As long as I don't break them, I guess they are good, but somehow my gut feeling tells me there is definitely better quality out there. Maybe after I used them for a few months, I will update this review.

Very useful socket adapter set Sep 03, 2009

This socket adapter set is so useful. You can buy almost any socket or bit and you'll know for sure you'll have a corresponding driver for it. The sockets are made for impact wrenches, so you know the sockets are of good quality.
The only con for this set is that it doesn't come with a case.
If you have a socket wrench, buy this adapter set.

This set arrived within a couple days of order and looks to be a nice set for the cost. It includes adapters for 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" adapting both up and down.

I had recently purchased an impact wrench but needed adapters for my socket set. This was the perfect solution. There were several different combinations which allow me to interchange them to get the correct size for what ever job I needed them for. Excellent product.
