This set of step drills are truly a fine product. They are well displayed and very nicely packaged.It is a perfect variety of sizes and styles. I have used them quite a bit on a variety of materials including my new car that I added a spoiler to. I am a retired machinist. I think this says it all.

Escellent bits, excellent case Dec 20, 2011

Bits are 5 star quality, especially considering the price. I own a $50 step bit (yup, for just one bit) and these are 95% as good, and the full set of 5 was not much over half that, with case. The case itself is built like a miniature briefcase, and well-made of metal, and should last a long, long time. As the bits wear out, I plan to buy replacement bits, and keep them in this case, it is built so well. The bits have flats machined onto the shanks that match the jaws of your drill, so they can't slip, and are machined true, so that the tip of the bit has zero wobble when in use. The hole sizes are as accurate as any, as well.

Excellent,must have for anyone that works with anything mechanical,the hobby and crafter, or modeler. Save money on individual drill bits, and always have the hard to find and odd size bits that you never seem to have when you need them. I can't see how I lived without it I never will again.

I assumed that I was going to be getting a brand new case with my bits but that was DEFINITELY not the case. The case had dents and scratches all over it. The bits looked new so I decided to keep them. The case would have been beat up in a month anyhow so I kept the whole thing. The largest bit in this set sells for 50$ at Home Depot and it does not come with a case so I am pleased with the 30$ I paid on Amazon. I just wish they would have described the case as "used" because mine was definitely just that. The bits are a 5star but the case is a 1star.

This step bit set covers a wide range of hole sizes, and comes in a nice case too boot. These bits are very useful for sheet metal and plastic sheet drilling. They are quick cutting, easy to use, and cover a wide range of hole sizes. This set is a bargain priced tool set. The Bits are well made, each step size is marked on the bit, and the shanks are designed with flats to provide a better chuck grip on the bits. Nice set for the money.
