I bought these tools for the same reason anyone would; I had just spent time breaking nearly every clip in my door panel with exception of probably the last two or three. Tired of spending afternoons in line at a dealership or parts store buying those god-hating clips in odd numbers, I searched for tools that solved this problem.
I decided on these since it was a good-sized kit and priced right as well. Don't let the pictures deceive you. They are sturdy tools and are probably a little too strong for the task they are designed for. I wouldn't be surprised if I could use one of these tools to pry nails from 2X4's or pry my butt off the couch and go replace the door speakers in my truck. These were a good buy. The only thing you get with the $60 sets are a more comfortable grip. I don't know about you but I don't plan on holding these tools for more than a minute or two. If you want to buy something with a comfortable grip, buy a tea set. If you just want the job done right, buy these.

I was able to easily remove the door panel for an automatic lock actuator replacement on my 2002 Honda CRV. There was no damage to the panel or the clips. Great design on the tools made it extremely easy to approach the clips at any angle that was necessary. I am totally satisfied with these tools!

If you work in a lot of trim work, doing window motors,taking dashes apart, this is a great set for the price!
