| | Description | 3 Way Socket Converter. This is a new 12 volt 3 way socket converter. Great for when you have more than 1 item that works off a car cigarette lighter. It measures approximately 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" (140 x 89 mm). We work hard to update our descriptions and pictures of our merchandise. As part of a process of ongoing innovation by our suppliers, newer versions of the item shown may be shipped before we are able to complete an update. As a result there may be a slight variation in color and design. | |

It does the job but it sticks out so far it looks ackward and is in the way. I'm going to try another design. The price was right. The swivel is useful.

Fit Too Loose Dec 05, 2008
By Avid Reviewer
"A Music Fan"
In both the Civic and the Hyundai Ascent, this cigarette Lighter adapter keeps popping off the power socket. The fit is simply too loose, so the adapter comes off the socket with the slightest jiggle. Apparently, it's not designed to universally fit all cars sockets, so beware.
I also find it to be rather obtrusive, so it gets in the way of the shifter and partially obstructs the cup holders. I really wouldn't recommend this.
Blew fuse in my car??? Dec 16, 2011
By Jacqueline Loosbrock
"Travel Queen"
I bought this for my travel bag and then two others similar so that my husband can have one in his car and I can have one in my car. Would come in handy for all the traveling we do. We tried this one and my fuse blew almost right away. My husband tried to change it but it seemed to be more of an issue than just an easy change. When my husband took my car for inspection just a few days later he mentioned this to the mechanic and the mechanic said that most cars can not handle something like this and the fuse will most likely blow each time?? I think that would have been a great thing to know prior to buying these items. I have not yet tried the others and might have to give them away as gifts to someone who can use them since I don't want to take the chance of blowing more fuses now. Added note I do have a newer car, a newer PT Cruiser.
did not work Sep 03, 2011
