I got this for my hubby for his Birthday and he LOVES it!! He won't use these bits all that often, but when you need one you NEED ONE, and they're hard to find. It was a perfect addition to his tools. The price was great and Amazon is always the perfect place to buy things as per their return policies.

I am a professional automotive technician I use this set daily have not broken or had any problems with this tool and have been using them for 9 months.Will buy another set for home use .

 Great bits and socket set but case doesn't always grab the tools Jan 30, 2010

Bought this set to work on my new car since it's European and uses a lot of the torx bits. The bits and sockets are all nicely finished and securely fit into or on the screw being worked on. Since I'm only a home enthusiast and only sporadically need these type of bits, it's hard to say what the long term durability will be but they see quite well made and the finish is quite outstanding. Don't think for what I use them for that they will fail me in any way. Price is excellent.
The only issue I have with the set is a small one: the case is the molded blown type that is supposed to grab each bit and have a place for each bit, but the space doesn't always grab the bit/socket properly or adequately so the bits may not always stay in place if the kit is kicked or jossled.
However, if you are the weekend warrior that needs a full set of torx bits, you can't beat this price.

There are more and more mechanical devices that are using Torx connectors in the manufacturing process and most shade-tree mechanics don't have the necessary tools to be able to work on them. Torx screws are designed to be driven with high speed drivers and not slip like would happen if you used a Phillips head screw. I have used these Torx wrenches on my Harley using a torque wrench and have had no problems. They do have a tendency to stay on the screw when you torque the screw, but that is pretty normal with devices like this.
The set does include just about every torx size that is made. The external female socket set that comes with it is nice as well. The vanadium finish is very bright and will remain that way for a long time. The size numbers on the sockets are engraved not lasered so are hard to read in low light. Otherwise this is a great bargain.
I have purchased many Neiko products. They all are contained in nice cases so that you can keep track of and store your products. I am very pleased with Neiko's offerings and quality.
