You can never be sure about the quality of tools these days, but these are definitely worth the money. I ordered the metric shorts to check for durability, and will likely order the SAE and long versions of both in the near future. Good Stuff!

These Hex Sockets appear to be generally well built. Stamped Cr-V for Chrome Vanadium and size labeled on the socket portion with just a number with no "mm" following. Size labels are visible on the hex portion as well on some but not all of my set. All the Sockets have quick-detach depressions inside the drive socket. Made in Taiwan.

On my 14mm socket the hex portion appears to be inserted at a slight angle. Not enough to effect work with hand tools but if you were using it in a powered operation it could be an issue.

The blow molded case is nice but would be even better if it was labeled "Metric Hex Socket Set" on the exterior (Top and ends ideally) and had the size marking for each piece on the interior. A foam top piece makes the box totally rattle-free when closed but the top foam is loose in the box. I'll fix these minor issues with a labeler and some double-sided tape.

I used the 10mm for accessing the differential plug on my Toyota. It was a big improvement over using an L-shaped Hex wrench and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was sick of messing with allen wrenches and hurting my hands. I even broke them from time to time. With this set I am able to use the allen fitting with my ratchet and it makes things soooo much easier!

This kit is just what I needed. It includes the difficult to find 14mm hex socket. The tools are well built, sturdy and very affordable on Amazon.com. The kit arrived quickly and I was very satisfied with my purchase.
